Our business has grown considerably in volume and complexity as new ingredients are added to meet the growing consumer demand for new and novel ingredients. Today food ingredients represent the single largest contribution to Murray Goulburn’s annual revenue.

Through the adaptation of the latest technologies coupled with our own innovation we continue to explore opportunities to harvest major and minor components from milk and study novel ways of building new ingredients to improve performance, add nutritional benefits or provide new functionality to food systems. Customer involvement is a critical part of the product development process as we profile new ingredients to meet their needs. Product applications and technical support are key parts of our customer service strategy.

Murray Goulburn is the second largest supplier of dairy ingredients on the global market which is serviced from our three distribution centres in Port Melbourne and Laverton. Our domestic business is also serviced from these centres which provide optimum economies of scale and efficiency of distribution. Murray Goulburn applies the latest developments in information technology to support our business and has pioneered innovations in export documentation processing that have now become industry norms.

We have an integrated global ingredients business that is customer focused and committed to continuous improvement in our quest to maintain the respect of our loyal customer base.
