MG MilkCare
In August 1999, Murray Goulburn launched one of the most comprehensive quality improvement programmes ever undertaken in Australia at farm level. The programme is called "MG MilkCare" and represents a formal accreditation based on the internationally recognised HACCP system of quality assurance.
MG MilkCare has been a tremendous success with nearly all of Murray Goulburn's suppliers accredited to the quality system ensuring they obtain a premium for the quality milk they supply to the co-operative. The implementation of this programme in conjunction with our Quality Systems in manufacturing, storage and distribution, creates a true Total Quality Management system throughout the Company.
